"Here be dragons"

Films: Komodo (1999)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Forest/Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of average komodos.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: One of the largest lizards around is the Komodo Dragon. This lumbering beast is the top predator of its habitat, and can bring down creatures more than twice its size. One Komodo is a menace. A group of them is a death wish. And now, they're ready to take on American soil.

History: Around the 70s, a clutch of Komodo Dragon eggs was carelessly left in the woodlands of Emerald Island, NC. Somehow, these reptiles have managed to survive off the fat of the land, but are slowly running out of resources. Now, they've left a kid traumatized after raiding his house and killing his parents. When that kid returns home after some intense therapy, the Komodos are still there...

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: All of the Komodos are killing in one way or another. The last one in particular dies a gruesome death upon getting a flare to the throat. Either way, the ecosystem can balance out once more.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-These reptilian monsters are disturbingly real-looking, and have the attitudes to match. Built like tanks and quick on their feet, the komodos that inhabit Emerald Island will slowly hunt you down, and tear you to pieces.

Trivia: -Komodo Dragons were thought to have a lethal bite because of their infectious bacteria-invested saliva. In truth, they are actually legitimately venomous.

-For the most part, Komodos are solitary creatures, only coming together to hunt, eat, or fight over carcasses.

Pray for all those inside. Pray they never get out.

Trying to ape Anaconda? Lowest stakes here.

The army of reptile Hell has come!

Yep. Reptile Hell.
Stay out of the short/long grass.

A generous show, as they're not fighting over their prey.
Charles Darwin was right, essentially.
